.Significant and some major flooding is expected to develop
along the White River due to several rounds of heavy rainfall
through Sunday. Wednesday night rainfall of generally two to three
inches fell across the White basin. Additional rainfall of three to
five inches in the upper and middle White and five to seven inches
in the lower White is expected through Sunday morning, and this is
all included in today's forecasts.

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...White River at Ravenswood.

* WHEN...From Friday afternoon until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 10.0 feet, Serious flooding begins in the Ravenswood
area.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...

- Forecast...The river will rise above flood stage to 6.1 feet
early tomorrow afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage
tomorrow afternoon to 5.8 feet Saturday morning. It will rise
above flood stage again early Saturday afternoon to 10.3 feet
Monday morning. It will then fall again but remain above
flood stage.
